The Adventures of the Mountain Men had some excellent chapters. I loved the Coulter, Meek & Bridger chapters especially and other chapters as well. I learned a great deal about how tough these men needed to be to survive as well as their interaction with the various tribes. Apparently everyone feared the Black Feet Indians, mountain man and other Indians as well. The chapter describing the various fur companies was a bit tedious. Otherwise a good read.
